1. NHC is now looking at the area of the western Caribbean as a possible place for development. If development occurs, it will most likely slowly happen over the next week. We should see low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico by late this week, but pressure should remain high enough so that it's not classified as a storm.

2. Heat will come into the I-95 corridor Thursday and Friday. Get ready for temps to approach 100 degrees in the big cities.

3. More severe storms around the rim of the heat. Minnesota will deal with damaging wind gusts and hail this afternoon and evening as the latest round of storms develops.
