Snow Pushes Through Mid-Atlantic, New England

A storm developed across the Southeast Tuesday, bringing snow and heavy ice from Dallas to Nashville.
Numerous accidents, downed trees and scattered power outages were common from northern Louisiana through Kentucky.
This storm will sprint through the Northeast Wednesday, bringing snow and ice across a wide swath from Pennsylvania into New York and New England.
There have already been reports of more than 4 inches of snow across central Pennsylvania. Some places in western Maryland have had nearly 1/2 an inch of dangerous glaze. See all the updates below:
7:15 a.m. EST Wednesday:The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Boston tweeted a report of 2 inches of snow in Shrewsbury, Mass., and 2.5 inches in Dighton. They also shared a report of 1.6 inches of snow in Wakefield, Mass.
7:10 a.m. EST Wednesday: Amy Freeze, of WABC-TV NYC, shared a live webcam of snow in Connecticut on Twitter.

6:10 a.m. EST Wednesday: A look at the heavy snow in Mass: This is the I-90 MassPike at the I-495 Interchange, near Westborough.
5:30 a.m. EST Wednesday: Moderate to heavy snow across much of southern New England right now. Many roads are snow-packed and dangerous. Use extreme caution.
4:45 a.m. EST Wednesday: Snow has created slushy, dangerous roads across the #Hartford, Conn., area. Here is a look at I-84 near exit 63.
4:30 a.m. EST Wednesday: Snow has arrived in Boston, Mass. Rain is falling in Plymouth and over Cape Cod.
4:05 a.m. EST Wednesday: Light snow just reported at Norwood Memorial Airport, just southwest of Boston.
3:45 a.m. EST Wednesday: Snow has made its way into Binghamton and Albany, N.Y.
3:30 a.m. EST Wednesday: Snow accumulation now up to 3.5 inches in Ligonier, Pa. This is just southeast of Latrobe in Westmoreland County.
3:15 a.m. EST Wednesday: Snowing hard in Scranton, Pa. This is I-81 near exit 182.
