No big changes until December in the Northeast

Today's video forecast shows what to expect from now into the weekend.

The European and U.S. GFS models suggest a change to wintry cold across the Midwest and Northeast after the first week of December.

One concern for the weekend is whether a layer of moist air causes areas of cloudiness in the Middle and perhaps North Atlantic states this weekend. More on this tomorrow and Wednesday.

This map shows the pressure pattern this morning. Strong southwesterly breezes are sending milder air into the Northeast.
