Northeast faces renewed chill
December 03, 2018; 8:52 AM
In the wake of a cold front moving off the Eastern Seaboard, colder air will come in to replace the current mildness. The cold fronts coming through periodically during the course of the week could cause clouds and a few snow flurries, but no major storms are in sight this week.
There will be a storm coming inland through California and then moving through the Southwestern states during the next few days. Models have been inconsistent about where the storm will go next, with some models showing precipitation as far north as Pennsylvania and New Jersey next weekend. Others keep it well south from the Carolinas to Florida. We'll talk more about that storm as we go through the week.
This map shows the surface pressure pattern early this morning and is followed by a today's forecast video.
