A chilly weekend, then warmer for a while next week
November 11, 2017; 7:37 PM
Some rather cold, January-like air is about to plunge south from Canada. That leads to a rather chilly weekend in the Southeast, even though the main thrust of the cold air passes by to the north. West of the Mississippi, the rest of the week is decent, though cool, then it moistens up this weekend. The wet weather spreads east early next week, followed by a warmup and the milder air hangs around at least until next weekend. In the tropics, we have Rina in the Atlantic, which is a minor worry for the U. K.; otherwise, the only concern is that we have to keep an eye on the Caribbean.
